If you have Pergo-type laminate flooring, you know that cleaners especially designed for Pergo can be pricey and hard to find. This easy-to-make alternative is both inexpensive and safe for the environment.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Purchase a good-sized container of white vinegar. Save money by buying in bulk at warehouse stores, especially if you wash your floors often.

  2. Step 2

Thoroughly sweep or vacuum the floor to be cleaned.

  3. Step 3

In a bucket, pour one part vinegar to five parts water.

  4. Step 4

Dip your mop in the bucket and after wringing it out thoroughly, mop the floor.

Tips & Warnings
  • This cleaning formula can also be used on ceramic tile.
  • Be sure to wring out the mop sufficiently, until the mop is no longer dripping.
  • Make sure there are no puddles, or there will be spots or streaks when the floor dries.
