Ever since the very first version of Microsoft’s Windows operation system was released, it has been riddled with bugs. The most prominent issue that users face are what is called register error entries. These are management files that Windows uses to operate your computer. When the registry files become error ridden, your computer can lag and even crash. But there are programs that scan and detect these problems, fixing them before they can become an issue.

Instructions

      Download and install RegCure. You will need to visit the resources link below in order to download and install RegCure. Just follow the prompts to install this program to your computer.

      Open the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon to open this program and use it.

      Select the desired settings. Left-click on the “Settings” tab, and select the desired settings.

      Scan your PC for problems. On the command bar (left side) left-click on “Scan”; this will scan all of the files on your computer for problems. Scanning may take a few moments so be patient.

      After the scan has been run, fix the problems. Upon concluding the scan, RegCure will notify of you any problems. All you have to do is check-mark the problems that you wish to be fixed and left-click on “Fix Problems."

Tips & Warnings

  • Schedule RegCure to scan and fix your computer automatically at least once per week.

  • Always set a System Restore point under settings before you use this program. This way you can restore your computer should something go wrong.

    You conveniently forgot to mention the $39.97 fee to even use the program. The free scan is not free when it doesn't fix any errors without charging you. Maybe Pareto Logic should be a bit more forthright by explaining the cost before relling people in with a "free scan", which basically gets you nowhere when it comes to repairing erors.

    6/17/09 When opening RegCure there was a notice that a newer version was available, so I downloaded it. Now I am stuck with RegCure in my startup and it is slowing down the startup. Looking at my startup (msconfig)I see nothing to identify RegCure. I don't want it automatically starting.
