How to Publish Text as Images in Yahoo Site Builder

Things You’ll Need:

• Yahoo SiteBuilder
• Computer
• Internet Access

1. Open the application. You will need to left-click on the application icon in order to open the program.
2. Open the web page that you wish to work on. Left-click on the “File” tab on the command bar, and scroll to open; select the website and web pages that you wish to work on.
3. Add any desired text. Left-click on the box in the middle of the command bar that is labeled with a “T”; this will open a text insertion box. Add desired text to the web page that you are working on.
4. Publish the text as an image. To change text to an image in SiteBuilder you will need to right-click on the text box, after adding the desired text; a submenu will open. Scroll to “Properties” and left-click; a properties box will open; check-mark the box that is labeled “Publish text as an image."

Tips & Warnings

• If you are using fonts that may not be standard, you will generally want to publish the text as an image to avoid formatting issues between browsers.
• Always test your site live after your publish it to assure it is error-free.
