1. Pluck yourself off the wall. You don't have to know how to dance to get involved in the moment. Try to be a little more outgoing when at events or in situations where meeting women is appropriate. If you are constantly being a wallflower you will blend into the background as usual.

2. Make her laugh without becoming a clown. Humor is always good but you don't want to be a cartoon character in her eyes as this may put you in an untouchable friend zone forever. Being a clown will get you noticed, but probably not in the way you want.

3. Exude confidence. If you can't feel good about yourself and you wouldn't notice you walking into a room, why would someone else? Women don't want you to be arrogant most of the time but having confidence is important as this draws attention.

4. Dress to impress. This is one of the most popular, yet least followed rules. Always look presentable when in a place you might meet women or they might see you. Comfort needs to be sacrificed sometimes for the greater good.

5. Be your best self. Play up your good points without over-flaunting them. You don't have to pretend to be something you are not but you should also try to put your best foot forward in all situations. his will involve some self-motivation in some instances.

6. Practice chivalry. Even though times have changed and women want things on a level playing field, every women wants to be treated like a lady sometimes. When appropriate, open the door, pull out their chair, and so on, as this will give you brownie points.

7. Never follow your dateless friend's example. Stay away from the advice and example of your jealous and over-zealous friends. Many times it may be a friend that ruins it for you in the end by being too outgoing and constantly trying to outdo you. Stick with friends that know how to be a good wing-man or wing-woman.
