Tired of having to spend your hard earned money on something as petty and painful as eyebrow waxing? I will teach you how to create beautiful (and painless!) eyebrows at home for just the cost of a tweezer.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • tweezer (a "professional" one with slanted ends is best)
  • wash towel
  • eyebrow pencil
  1. Step 1

dampen your wash towel with warm water, then press on your eyebrows. the warm water will open your pores, which will make hair removal virtually painless.

  2. Step 2

hold your eyebrow pencil vertically from the inner corner of your eye up to your eyebrow. this is where your eyebrow should begin. make a mark with your eyebrow pencil, and tweeze all hairs outside this line (toward your nose)

  3. Step 3

the highest point of your arch should hit just to the outer side of your pupil when looking straight ahead. using the eyebrow pencil again, mark this spot on your eyebrow.

  4. Step 4

your eyebrow should end near the outer corner of your eye. using your eyebrow, make a mark at this point and remove all hairs past.

  5. Step 5

if it helps, "connect the dots" where you made the marks on your eyebrow to help guide you when tweezing. fill in the entire eyebrow if it helps you.

  6. Step 6

tweeze all "stray" hairs below the eyebrow. you may tweeze as much as you like until you achieve your desired thickness. *see tips

  7. Step 7

typically it is a "rule" that you don't tweeze above your eyebrow. however if you have a few stray hairs, by all means, remove them!

  8. Step 8

    repeat on other eyebrow.

Tips & Warnings
  • if it is your first time tweezing, or you are going from thick brows to thin, do this gradually. if you over-tweeze right away, it will be more difficult to hide any mistakes!
  • if you do happen to go a little thin, it is sometimes a good idea to fill spots in with eyebrow pencil and eyeshadow!
