From Quick Guide: Using a Blackberry
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find and select the alarm icon on your BlackBerry.

  2. Step 2

Customize whether you’d like your alarm to be a daily or a one-time alert only.

  3. Step 3

Choose whether you want the snooze (reminder alarm) on or off.

  4. Step 4

Select whether you want your alarm to be active on weekends as well as weekdays. Pay close attention to this option if you don’t want to be woken up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday.

  5. Step 5

Pick the alert type, tune, volume and number of beeps associated with your alarm. You’ll want to select a loud, abrasive sound if you’re a heavy sleeper and worry you won't wake up.

  6. Step 6

Test your alarm by setting it to go off a minute or so after you’ve selected all options to ensure it will be enough to wake or alert you.
