Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Energy efficient light bulbs
  1. Step 1

Replace all your old standard bulbs with energy efficient CFL bulbs. With this initial investment, over time, the new bulbs will pay for themselves.

  2. Step 2

Turn off your hoods and lights overnight and between services when they are not in use. Most cooks leave them on for convenience sake.

  3. Step 3

Unplug coffeemakers, computers and other electronics with not in use overnight. These machines still use power when they are plugged in and not in use.

  4. Step 4

Fix leaky faucets and water in your bathrooms. Over time, the wasted water can add up and eventually cost you money.
