Instructions

    • 1

Cleanse the skin thoroughly using a cleanser that can be removed with water. Exfoliate your skin with a mini loofah, specifically designed for use on your face, while your skin is still wet. Use gentle, small circular movements, avoiding the eye area and concentrating on your forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks. Rinse well with clean water.

    • 2

Tone your skin by spraying it with an aromatic water. If you are using a purchased brand, look for a toner that is alcohol free. You can make your own by combining 2 ounces of water, 4 drops of lavender oil, 4 drops of rose oil, and 2 drops of geranium oil. Pour the toner in a mist sprayer and mist your skin.

    • 3

Apply a cleansing mask. After exfoliating and toning your skin, apply a cleansing mask to your face and throat, avoiding the eye area. Use any left over cleanser on the back of you hands or feet.

    • 4

Use an eye compress. To make an eye compress solution, put 1 drop of chamomile essential oil in one and a half pints of cold water. Mix well. Soak two cotton wool pads in the eye compress solution and squeeze out any excess liquid. Place the pads over your eyes. Relax with the mask and compresses in place for 10 minutes. Remove the compresses and rinse off the mask with cool water.

    • 5

Apply an essential oil skin conditioner. Use a skin conditioner, based on skin type. Apply the mixture to your face and throat. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes, then rinse off.
