Step 1
Prepare to remove the condom. Ideally, a condom should be removed immediately following ejaculation, before the penis becomes flaccid. This will prevent it from accidentally slipping off. Hold the base of the condom against the penis as you withdraw, so that the condom goes with you.

Remove the condom. Ideally, you should remove the condom while standing, to avoid spilling and in the bathroom, for ease of clean up, in case you do. Just as you roll the condom down the erect penis to put it on, you should slide the condom off the end of your penis to remove it. Pinch gently against the penis to make sure all material is removed with the condom. At this point, it is safest to unroll the condom to its full length and tie a knot in it.

Step 3
Get rid of the condom. You should never dispose of a condom by flushing it down the toilet, as it can damage plumbing. Dispose of the condom in the trash. You may be more comfortable wrapping it in some tissue or toilet paper around it first.
