It is important to clean and polish your stained glass to remove any tarnish or residue on the solder seams and capture the deep luster stained glass should have.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Finishing compound
  • Rags
  • Buffing brush
  1. Step 1

Apply finishing compound on your stained glass project. The project must be completely dry before applying finishing compound.

  2. Step 2

Use enough finishing compound to lightly cover glass, solder seams and frame. Be sure you allow this compound to completely dry. This allows the desired result to the finished artwork.

  3. Step 3

Use a clean cloth to spread the finish compound over the stained glass piece.

  4. Step 4

Once the finishing compound dries and turns to a white film, use a soft brush or cloth to buff off the compound.
