Make Peanut Butter Brownies

When we think of brownies, we think chocolate, but peanut butter goes with chocolate. My peanut butter brownie recipe uses both peanut butter and chocolate for a delightful dessert.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 of brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • dash of salt
  • 6 oz. of chocolate bits
  • 6 oz. of peanut butter bits
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  1. Step 1

Beat the peanut butter and butter until smooth. Add the sugars and beat until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat.

  2. Step 2

Add dry ingredients and mix. Now add the 6 oz. of peanut butter chips and stir. Usually the bag is 12 oz, so 1/2 bag.

  3. Step 3

Place the mixture into a 9 inch buttered or sprayed pan. Top with 6 oz. of chocolate bits.

  4. Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes depending upon your oven. Every oven is different. Check with a toothpick in the middle to see if done. I actually like mine a little under done for a gooey brownie.
There you have it. Peanut Butter and Chocolate together. What a combination.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try chopped walnuts with the chocolate bits on top.
  • Use the chocolate chips in place of the peanut butter chips and put walnuts on top.
  • This is not a diet dessert.
