If you are reading this article then you have a credit card or debt that is at least $20,000. Relax and read this article and hopefully if will help you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Step1
1. The first thing I would do is try to get the $20,000 transferred to different credit cards. This will help to lower the payments. Try to transfer to lower interest. Call your credit union and see if they will give you a $20,000 loan. Once you have the debt in a more manageable vehicle we can start paying it off.
Step2
2. When the debt is this high you have to attack it slowly. Take small bites. Find all the extra money you can and put it towards this debt. Get an extra job at UPS and throw boxes to make extra money. If you received a $3000 tax refund then you gave the government $250 at 0.0% interest last year. Increase your withholdings and bring home more money.
Step3
3. Pay down the debts as fast as you can. Focus all your energy. Sell everything in the house you don't use or need. Stop eating out. Stop buying Starbucks. Stay out of the mall. No Christmas this year. This debt has got to go. Make it your mission to knock this debt out for good.
