Quit Smoking

A smoking addiction is not easy to get rid of. It takes hard work and dedication.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • The desire to quit
  • A hobby
  • Faith
  1. Step 1

Make the commitment to yourself that you will quit smoking and have faith that it is possible.

  2. Step 2

Tell a close relative or friend that you are quitting. This is, in a sense, making a commitment to others close to you. You won't want to let down the people you care about.

  3. Step 3

Make a plan to slow down. Plan out how many smokes you will have a day. Try to decrease the number as the days pass.

  4. Step 4

Pick a day that you will quit. After you have made your plan, pick a quit date.

  5. Step 5

Once your quit date arrives, get rid of any and everything that has to do with smoking!

  6. Step 6

Find something to take the place of smoking. Find a hobby, if you don't have one already. When you feel the urge to smoke do this thing instead.
