1. Never allow young children to play with fireworks! Children do not understand the danger sparklers pose. Sparklers burn at 1800 degrees--which melts gold!
2. Light fireworks outdoors in a clear area away from houses, dry leaves or grass.
3. Do not try to relight or handle malfunctioning fireworks. Douse and soak them with water and throw them away. Keep a bucket of water nearby for emergencies.
4. Store fireworks in a dry, cool place!
