How to make a Banana Bomb

Have you ever had the wild desire to throw a banana out your window and have it explode all over the pavement below? Well, you've come to the right place......

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• A banana
• An out-of-the-way place that will stay hot (a backpack works well)
• a month or two to make this
• patience, and a lot of it
• an openable window, preferralbly with pavement below

1. Okay. This project is for the very brave at heart. Do not begin this if you faint easily, or don't like cleaning things up.
   Well, here goes:
   ahem:
   get a banana
2. put the banana in a pocket in a backpack, in a bag, etc.
3. This is the part that requires a lot of patience:
   Leave the banana in the bag for about 3 weeks- a month, or until the banana is grey and green and a lot of other funky colors.
   It may help to leave the banana outside, moving the location every day.
4. When you feel your banana is ready, take it out of the bag, and go up to your window. Now is a good time to open the window.
5. Cut 1-3 slits in the sides of the banana. You may want to cut of one of the ends, or both of them. It is also possible to skip this step, but probably more fun if you don't.
6. DRUMROL>>>>>>
   Drop the banana.
   Hurl the banana.
   Punt the banana.
   Do whatever you choose to get that banana out the window without also getting it all over the carpet.
   watch it drop to its doom.
   (ALTERNATE ROUTE: HURL IT AT A NEIGHBORS HOUSE/DOOR/WINDOW, OR AT AN INNOCENT PASSERBY [then slam your window shut and look innocent as fast as you can])
7. BOOM! BANG! WATCH THE HORRIBLE DESTRUCTION AS YOU BANANA SQUIRTS FUNKY-COLORED GOO ALL OVER! FUN!
8. Go down as quick as you can and clean it up before your parents find it, or if you are a parent, your neighbors see you and call the insane asylum.... Or the bomb squad.
   (ALTERNATE ROUTE: IF YOU REALLY HATE CLEANING, YOU CAN LEAVE IT THERE. DOWNSIDE: YOU WILL HAVE A DECOMPOSING BANANA ON YOUR PAVEMENT, AND AN ANT PROBLEM)
