How to enable Task Manager on windows.

If your task manager function has been disabled by a spyware program here are the steps to enabling it.

Things You'll Need:

• computer
• printer or pen and paper

1. Print these instructions, or write them down.

2. Restart your computer

3. Log on in an account with Administrative permission.

4. Click on start.

5. In the bottom right column click on "run".

6. In the open box, type the word regedit

7. click ok

8. In the left pane click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER

9. Scroll down and select Software.

10. Scroll down and select Microsoft

11. Scroll down and select Windows

12. Select Current Version

13. Select Policies

14. Select System

15. In the right pane, double click Disable Task Manager

16. In the value data box, type the number 0 and then click ok. (the number 1 will be where you are going to change it to a 0)

17. On the file menu Click exit. (click the red x in top right corner)

18. Restart your computer.

Tips & Warnings

• when you select the files you need to click on the + beside the file to get the subfolders to show
• Be careful and don't click on any other things in the registry unless you know what you are doing. You can ruin your computer.
