I will start with my compaq presario 5304.It has outstanding qualities and features like a 19 inch ctx ultra screen moniter and awesome sound,It is fast, and very up to date.This is probaly one of the best electronic buys that I have ever made.I really suggest this product if you can afford it.The moniter alone makes it seem like your watching television.Dont worry about speed because this baby is fast and full of perks.So like I said it is worth every dime. The presario 5304 delivers a comprehensive package of leading edge features.These features are designed to make it easier than ever to manage and protect your system and data.You get top performance with the m2 processor running at high speed, rapid access memory that satisfies the memory requirements of most business applications, and a powerful video card. Simple to learn, and with an awesome keyboard. With programmable buttons, "one-touch internet access," volume and cd controls, and this neat button (with a crescent moon on it) that you use to activate the "sleep mode." I would recommend it to anyone how wants a quality computer, that doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg.Billed as a 366 MHz machine,pretty fast for 366mhz, great diognostic features great sound it actually clocks in at 250, but I don't really care. the monitor included has great capability for plug and play

Compaq has a great technology team and replies quickly to answers concerning trouble shooting and maintenance problemsMy compaq presario was a very low cost machine. 799.00 to me is one of the best prices for the quality . Which is the reason I purchased it. I needed a new computer and needed something which was affordable. I have found it to be very able to perform all i need it to do and more. I really am astonished at the preformance for the money that I paid.

on 7/4/2008 Here's a tip: Dell makes their computers for schools systems by special order. Schools order their computers in the beginning of the year. A LOT do not take delivery of their computer orders and cancel their orders at the end of the year. So at the end of the school year, order your computer from Dell Refurbished (call the 800 number) at a huge savings. Be sure to order the 3-year in-home warranty. WELL WORTH the few extra bucks! Then use one of Dell's authorized service company's for the excellent repair service instead of calling the Dell number!
