1 venison roast 1 12-ounce can regular Cola (not diet) 1 medium onion, diced 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 15-ounce can small whole potatoes 2 cups fingerling carrots 1 4-ounce can mushrooms

Rinse roast with water and place in the crock pot. Add onion, Cola, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.

Remove lid from crock pot and add potatoes, carrots and mushrooms. Cover and let entire meal cook for 2 to 4 hours longer. Meat will fall apart when ready.
Tips & Warnings
To remove some of the "gamey" taste from the venison, soak it in salted water in the refrigerator overnight. Drain and prepare as directed above.
This recipe also works well with a boneless beef roast.
