Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Things You’ll Need:

  • Patience and lots of it.
  • Time. Do not rush into anything.
  • Common Sense
  • Pride in you and in your ability, talents and work
  • Creativity
  • Willingness to do what is best for you, no matter what
  • faith, fortitude, courage and strength to do what is right, rather than what is easy, convenient and quick
  • good observation skills
  • good listening skills
  • willingness to listen to your own inner instinct
  • willingness to act on your own gut instincts
  • professionalism in attitude, mind, body and spirit
Step1
The best way to get into these kinds of careers --and stay there, and succeed is to keep your clothes on. Keep your spirits high. Have professionalism on your part. Have great patience. Read more about this to get all the information you can that will help you get into the career and stay there and succeed.
Step2
When approached on the street, in a mall or in other private or public places, remember that most GWCs approach people like that and most real professionals do not have that approach. (A GWC is just a guy with a camera looking out for himself, looking to meet women and girls, and looking to score points with them on a personal level. Most times, these guys are not helpful to you or to your future career, so beware and be careful. In fact, most molesters, sexual predators, posing as GWCs , pretending to be professionals approach most of their victims on the street or in malls or in public shopping centers and parking lots, in school lots and related places like that.

Your advancement in your career will come in professional ways, not in ways that demand that you take your clothes off. Trust me with that. Keep your clothes on and you will go further.

So, step two is KNOWING what you are dealing with. Know that professionals meet new talent in professional ways. You can go to auditions by checking into the media publications that are out there. Go to the bookstores and find those publications and look for the large, established companies rather than the small one and two man operation.

Find a copy of ROSS REPORTS at any bookstore or library. This little magazine will give you the names, addresses, telephones, faxes and all pertinent information about the major television and movie studios and producers and directors. This is a legitimate magazine that is for professionals, so buy it and use it to advance in your career. If you cannot find it at the bookstores, go online and see if you can obtain it that way. Check ebay for an old copy of it. Though phones may change, most likely the addresses in the book will be current.

IF you think that you are dealing with a GWC, ask the person if he has a copy of Ross Reports. If he looks at you puzzled and has no clue, then you can almost guess that he MIGHT (key word-might) be a GWC rather than a professional . But do not be tricked, use all of your observation powers. After all, there are GWCs reading this article right now, as it is available to the public here on the net. So observe everything, when you are speaking with media professionals or anyone in the business.

Professionals will act a certain way, and GWCs will act a different way. Once you are experienced you will see the big difference. I will write another article and fully describe a GWC so they are easier to spot.
Step3
Once you have distinguished between the GWC and the professional media person, then you are ready to take another step.

Contact people and companies that you find in Ross Reports, and check the local media paper for local auditions.

Use these guidelines:

Go with your inner instinct and heart, and if something feels wrong or bad, most likely it is. Get out of that situation.

Know that it is never too late to leave a situation or audition. If your gut instinct is saying LEAVE! then listen to yourself and leave. Never, ever stay in a situation where your gut instinct is pleading with you to go. Your instincts are giving you VALUABLE information; take it!

Tips & Warnings

  • Usually, GWCs will work in only one specialty, and that is getting women with their clothes either partially off or all off.
  • Usually, GWCs do not have other work in their portfolios. For example, usually a legitimate person in the business will work in most or all areas. Some might photograph cars or events, AND women, etc. The GWCs usually photograph only women, and only women who are willing to pose naked or partially naked or in enticing positions.
  • If you do not want to spend your entire career posing naked or partially clothed, then do not begin your career like that. You can do better than that.
  • It is one thing if that is YOUR choice, but totally different case when people approach you and entice or trick you into doing that.
  • There are many, in fact hundreds, of professionals out there that will photograph you --normally, and videograph you normally without you needing to strip or partially strip. In fact, the author of this article is a television producer who produces ONLY clean shows. And same author will give you the opportunity to be on air --as you are, without compromising any of your values and principles.
  • If you are leary of photographers and videographers because of the bad press that you have read about some GWCs, then inquire about the female press photographers, female producers and directors and you might have a head start in your career directions.
  • Before posing or volunteering for any photographer, videographer, producer or director, KNOW what other work he has done. Ask if the work was volunteer work or paying job. Speak with his other models, actresses or actors or with anyone who has done business with him.
  • Never agree to pose nude, or partially naked for any photographer, videographer, producer or director or anyone in the business who APPROACHES you. People who approach you on the street or at events, usually are not legitimate. Most reputable people in the business will not pick people off in the streets. It might be done once in a million, but most likely a real star will not be taken from right where you are. There are lots of "GWCs" out there looking for women, girls and others on the streets and they do that because they know that some are desperate to get into the business and most will 'accept' their offers when they see these guys have what seems like professional equipment.
  • And I cannot stress this enough, keep your darn clothes on! If you want to take them off AFTER you are famous, that is your decision. But know that doing so before you are in the business, usually , can only be harmful to your career. If you want to be taken professionally, then act, be and breathe professionally.
