For minimum stress and more time in job searching, get a Bachelors Degree in 4 or less years.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Personal Information
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have all of you requirements from high school or junior college. I would recommend taking AP classes in high school, but if you haven't take CLEP, DANTES, or other acceptable credit by exams tests.

    * Most colleges accept up to 30 units of Credit/No Credit for General Education, which means you, will pay less.

  2. Step 2

Look into Scholarships or Grants, because these can also be a good source of money for college. Now, loans are not recommended, but if you have to then you have to.

  3. Step 3

File for FASFA and Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver early. This allows you to get money for college, because you are poor.

  4. Step 4

Flunk your College Entrance Exam. You will get into EOPS if you have a low Math or English score or repeated courses in High School. (You have to prove it though). EOPS offers reduced parking passes, fee waiver for transfer application, and money for books. (Only if you are poor, if you are middle class or rich then you need to pass your entrance exam.)

  5. Step 5

Get a job and SAVE money. You will need it later.

  6. Step 6

Stick with what you are good at. Don't try to be something you are not or major in something you suck at or what others want. (You will be happier in the end.)

  7. Step 7

Look into online classes or alternative courses for your General Education or Major.

  8. Step 8

Take Summer and Winter Sessions to finish faster.

  9. Step 9

Don’t fail your courses. That is obvious.

  10. Step 10

Apply for graduation early and finish all of your courses a semester before your graduation date. That way if something comes up you are not in big trouble.

Tips & Warnings
  • The most important lesson is to have fun and be safe. :)
  • You don’t need to cheat, because there are always loopholes.
  • You should expect to pay 7,000-10,000 U.S. dollars for your Bachelors Degree. I can’t promise anything; I personally paid about 4,500$ (Mostly, books and supplies, as well as, two semesters, before Financial Aid). Note: I went to a JC and a Cal State and got both an A.A. and a B.A.).
  • This advice won't work for everyone. Especially, if you or your family are not poor. FASFA, Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver, and EOPS are meant for disadvantaged families.
