How to replace the string on a trimmer

If you Have a String Line Trimmer It has
A Line and it wares down over time instead of spending 10-20 Dollars to replace the spool
spend 2-3 Dollars to replace the string that's all you need you don't need a new spool

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Correct Line Mostly .80 for gas trimmers
  • Rag
  • Pliers with cutting ability
  1. Step 1

    First Remove the empty spool then clean it.

  2. Step 2

    take the new line and insert it into the hole and start winding the line around the spool till it gets to the top cut extra line and repeat with other chamber if there is one.

  3. Step 3

    Feed the string through the spool holder and snap back in the spool.

Tips & Warnings
  • Check Your owners Manual for correct line for better use of your trimmer.
  • The string spins very fast be careful it can cut you badly.
