How to Mix 2 cycle gas for a string trimmer

For most String Line Trimmers You need
To have Special Gas This is Gas + 2 Cycle Oil. I am going to teach you how to mix it.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Cycle Oil at least 3.2 oZ
  • half or one gallon regular gasoline.
  • container to store gas
  • trimmer
  1. Step 1

    Find a 1 Gallon Air Tight Container And look in your manual for the correct ratio 9 out of 10 times 40:1 is the right ratio for trimmers.

  2. Step 2

    You need 3.2Oz of oil for every 1 gallon if you are making half gallon take
    1.6 oz and mix with half gallon of gas.

  3. Step 3

    Close the container and shake well your gas is ready for use in your trimmer.

Tips & Warnings
  • You Should Buy oil with an upper chamber for easier Measuring
  • Always Use 2 Cycle oil other oil will Destroy The Engine.
