be safer with fireworks

Fireworks are never totally safe to use, but if we are wise and use sensible guidlines, the safety mark increases.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • adult supervision
  • children over 12
  • list of safety tips
  1. Step 1

Using common sense is really an important factor in fireworks safety. Think about what could go wrong before it does. This time, anticipating the bad may be a good thing.

  2. Step 2

Sparklers: They seem inocent enough, but can be dangerous. Never use inside. All fireworks are for outside!

  3. Step 3

Children need to be supervised when using any fireworks. Adults need to take the lead, and let the kids enjoy from a safe distance.

  4. Step 4

Being intoxicated and fireworks don't mix. Impaired judgement, from any source, can lead to disaster.

  5. Step 5

Don't try to make the fireworks "badder" than they are by altering them.
