Crazy alternative ,but a great trick for at home or in the salon!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • oven cleaner
  • papertowels
  • pencil
  1. Step 1

    Take your curling iron outside (you are not suppose to breathe the chemicals).

  2. Step 2

    Take a pencil and prop open your curling iron lay it on the ground (preferably on some newspaper)as to keep the oven cleaner off of your lawn.

  3. Step 3

    Spray your iron with an aerosol oven cleaner.This only takes a once over and follow the directions as far as how long you should let the cleaner sit on th oven surface.Just apply this to your iron.

  4. Step 4

    After,you compete this step use papertowels to wipe it clean.This will remove all of the old hairspray build up.

  5. Step 5

    You are almost finished after the papertowels,use a wet cloth to completely clean all of the oven cleaner off of the iron.Voila a new curling iron!
