I would try ketchup the citric acid may get the rust off.

  • ketchup
  • old cloth
  • elbow grease
  • time

Step1
first put the cymbals on something you don't mind getting stained
Step2
then get a cloth
Step3
next squirt the ketchup on the cymbols
Step4
then wipe off and rinse then dry

Tips & Warnings

  • it may work more efficient if you let the ketchup sit for a minute or two
