Make All Natural Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Your dog will love this all natural homemade peanut butter treat. Quick to make and delicious. Your pup will thank you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 cup all natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • baking sheet
  • cookie cutter of your choice (I like hearts)
  • 2 mixing bowls
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

In one bowl, combine flour and baking powder.

  3. Step 3

In another bowl, combine peanut butter and milk. Add this mixture to the dry ingredients from step 2 and mix well.

  4. Step 4

Use a little of your wheat flour to create a floured work surface on your coutertop. Knead the dough well on floured surface.

  5. Step 5

Roll dough to approximately 1/4 inch thick. Cut shapes with your cookie cutter.

  6. Step 6

Bake for approximately 20 minutes on a lightly greased cookie sheet until lightly browned (watch closely to avoid burning).

  7. Step 7

    Cool on a wire rack.

  8. Step 8

    Store in an airtight container.

Tips & Warnings
  • CAN BE STORED IN THE FRIDGE TO PRESERVE FRESHNESS.
  • BE SURE THAT COOKIES ARE COMPLETELY COOLED BEFORE PLACING THEM IN CONTAINER
