Even if your not computer literate, you can learn to copy your music to a CD from your computer. This is very easy to learn.

Things You'll Need

  • Desktop or laptop
  • Windows Media program
  • blank CD
  • optional CD label

      Buy some blank Cds.

      First step is to find your windows Media program. It's usually on your desktop but you may have to find it. If so, go to start-programs-Windows Media. Place the CD you want to copy into the CD writer drive. Then click Rip. This will put the music on your computer so you can burn it onto the blank CD.

      Once all the music is ripped, (this will take a few minutes)take out the music your copying from the computer (it may pop open on its own). At this time, put the blank CD in the Cd writer drive.

      The finishing Touch!

      To finish copying the CD, you will have to go to the library at the top of the program page of windows Media. Click on Library and find the music that you just ripped, and highlight each song. (To highlight- left click on your mouse, while holding down the Control Key at the same time, so all songs will be highlighted at once). Once all the music is highlighted, click on burn. A box will open for you to move the music from the library to the box to burn. Drag the highlighted music to the box. (right click mouse to drag highlighted items). To finish, pop out the CD and put a decorative label on the CD.

  • These instructions are for Windows Media.

  • Make sure you label your music.

  • Make sure you buy CDR music CDs
