Most people brush their teeth, rinse their toothbrush off with water and then place it in the toothbrush holder that is in the cabinet or on the sink to play germ tennis with the other toothbrushes near by.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Toothbrush
  • Antiseptic Mouth wash
  • Cup
  1. Step 1

Take the cup that you have designated as your toothbrush cup and pour a little bit of the Antiseptic Mouthwash in it, just enough to cover the head of your toothbrush.

  2. Step 2

After each time you brush your teeth, rinse your toothbrush off with water and then stick the toothbrush in the mouth wash, head first.

  3. Step 3

Repeat this after every brushing. This will help you to sanitize your toothbrush, keeping all kinds of nasty germs away.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to brush your teeth at least twice a day, floss at least once a day and use your antiseptic mouth wash.
  • Please remember to refresh the mouth wash in your cup every day.
  • You want make sure you use a antiseptic mouth wash such as Listerine

on 12/28/2008 Great idea, this often bothers me when I think about my toothbrush getting dirty in the same air as the bathroom, thanks for the solution! PS. I love the germ tennis description!;)

on 7/16/2008 Great tips! I always stick my toothbrush in a cup of mouthwash a minute or two before brushing my teeth. Never thought about leaving it in there all day. Might give it a try! Thanks!
