How to Put a Wedding Album Online

  1. Step 1

Turn on your computer and Internet browser. Type the phrase wedding album into your search browser and take a look at the different types of online wedding album applications available. Choose a software program to create your album with. Some popular applications include Snapfish, Picaboo, and Kodak. Make sure the program you choose offers online album sharing. You will have to upload the software onto your computer which may take a little while the first time so be patient. The good news is that the software is free and you only have to pay if you choose to order an album.

  2. Step 2

Upload your wedding pictures onto your computer by inserting a CD containing your pictures. Nowadays nearly all photographers offer a CD containing all your wedding pictures as a part of the package. If your photographer does not offer this, make sure you request one. The great thing about uploading your pictures on to your computer is that you will have another way of storing them and making sure they are safe.

  3. Step 3

Follow the instructions of your chosen program to create your album. There should be sample wedding albums available to look at on the site to give you some ideas. Take a look at the samples and note what you do and do not like. Make sure to check out all the editing tools as well. You can really change up the look and feel of your album by manipulating page layouts, changing borders and adding text. It will probably take you a good amount of time to put together your album as you try out different pictures and lay outs on different pages. Remember that you can really change the look of a picture by zooming in or zooming out. It is also a good idea to save some different pages and take a break, then come back later and see which you like best. Once you are satisfied with you work, save your completed album.

  4. Step 4

Share the online link with your friends and family so they can view your album once it is complete. You may also choose to post your album on a site such as Facebook so even more people you know will get to see it.
