Find love online. There are a number of online personals sites that are specifically geared towards singles seeking to find romance with individuals in the military. You can post your own personal ad or read over ads and profiles of military men who want to meet someone. Some are free to join and others require a fee, so make sure that you know the terms and conditions before you sign up. As with any online singles site, use wisdom and caution to avoid putting yourself in a dangerous situation.

Step 2
Try going to military installation open houses. These events showcase to the public military activities and living quarters.. There will be military personnel who are both participants and spectators. You can always make yourself stand out by asking questions or making positive comments. While you don't need to overdress for such events, make sure that you look neat and attractive and appear at your best.

Step 3
Go to a military club. Sometimes NCO (non-commissioned officers) and officer's clubs have special events, such as spring spectaculars, summer festivals and ladies' nights, to which the public is invited. Just show up at the main gate to get a free on-base pass and, after getting clearance to attend, mingle, talk, dance and make an effort to meet single military personnel. While you should endeavor to enjoy yourself, be careful of the way you conduct yourself. Getting drunk or overly flirty with too many people can make you look bad.

Volunteer at the USO and canteens. Enlisted men go there for recreation and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. As a volunteer, you can do things, such as serving them coffee and refreshments, listening to their stories, welcoming them home when they return from a deployment and giving out special care packages. Your presence can bring comfort to service members and give you an opportunity to meet many who are single.

Consider becoming part of the military. Although your chief goal should be to serve your country by enlisting, a big perk is that this is a surefire way to get connected to unmarried service members who may find it easier to bond with someone who understands what they are going through. Understand that joining the military is a serious commitment and that you have to be prepared to perform all duties connected to it. If you find true love in the midst of it, however, this is a plus.
