Point Pleasant Beach is a popular beach town on the New Jersey shore. At the center of activity is the boardwalk, where you can find rides, arcades, a tiki beach bar and an aquarium. Fun for all ages, it’s a great place to lie on the beach, have a drink at the bar or visit the penguins.

1. Point Pleasant Beach is conveniently located at Exit 98 of New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway. Follow the signs to Point Pleasant.

3. You can win prizes at one of the many arcades and games of chance along the boardwalk.

   Take the kids to the ride park. Purchase a ride pass for $15 that lets you on every ride in the park. Other admission packages are available that offer discounts for the funhouse and miniature-golf course. Check for discounts at any ticket kiosk.

5. Visit Jenkinson's Aquarium, where you can come within inches of the sharks, stingrays and other marine life that inhabit a 58,000-gallon exhibit. In the rainforest exhibit, you can see monkeys, colorful cockatoos and macaws. Be on hand for daily feedings of seals, sharks, penguins and alligators..

   Take a seat at Martell’s Tiki bar overlooking the ocean and enjoy a margarita and freshly shucked clams from the raw bar.
