When it comes to remembering dates, you don't always remember them correctly or at all. Sometimes you forget an important date or mix it up with another important date. If you are one of those people who always has trouble remembering dates, here are some helpful tips.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Use a free on-line email reminder service. You set the important dates through the service's system and the service will send you an email regarding the date you want to be remember. You can set it so you're reminded ahead of time or on the actual date itself.

  2. Step 2

Take advantage of your cell phone's built in calendar. If someone gives you a date that you need to remember, immediately put the date into your cell phone (correctly). If it is an important date, such as a birthday, where you have to send out a card or a gift, you may also want to put a reminder in a week or so ahead of time so you have plenty of time to purchase a gift or send a card. Some phone calendars will also allow you to set an alarm to remind you of dates. Even if you forget to check your calendar, the alarm will remind you.

  3. Step 3

Make it a habit to check your calendar every day and a week ahead of time. Doing this will help you remember dates in advance.

  4. Step 4

Place a giant calendar where you can see it. Having a giant calendar, which you can easily see, day after day, will help you to have a constant (and giant ) reminder.
