How to Build A Beer Fridge
Step1
Empty out the refrigerator. Remove all the shelves. The entire inside needs to be large enough to hold a quarter or half barrel of beer. Most shelves will come out easily by tilling the shelf upwards on one side and pulling out sideways.
Step2
Cut a hole through the refrigerator door. The hole should be the exact size that is specified in the beer tapper kit. The hole can be cut with a drill and drill bit that will match the size of the hole needed.
Step3
Install the beer tapper by following the directions that come with the kit. One end of the tapper will be attached to the keg and the other part will fit into the hole. A wrench will be used to tighten the nut that will hold the beer tapper into place on the outside of the refrigerator.
Step4
Cut a hole in the side of the refrigerator for the Co2 line. This line will run through the hole, be attached to the Co2 outside the refrigerator, and inside it will connect to the keg tapper. A rubber stopper will be used to seal the hole.
Step5
Turn on the refrigerator and let the beer chill. When the beer is chilled, open the beer tap and adjust the Co2 so that beer is flowing freely from the tap without to much foam.
