Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glass mug, plate, or bowl
  • Frame
  • Printing paper
  • Scrapbook supplies
  • Silk flowers
  • Vase
  1. Step 1

Create a personalized Mom bracelet. String it in her favorite colors and use letter beads to spell out, "To Mom, With Love," or "Well-Loved Mom." You can also string her name on it. Add a pair of matching earrings to go with her bracelet for a lovely set.

  2. Step 2

Write a letter or poem to your mother letting her know how much she means to you. Bring up any favorite childhood memories or even recent events. Tell your mother some of your favorite qualities about her. If it is a poem, it does not have to ryhme. You can write it any style that you would like. Print it on some pretty paper, and put it in a frame.

  3. Step 3

Make a handmade card. Buy some pretty pastel colored construction paper, glittler, stickers and stamps. Place one of your favorite pictures of you and your mom together inside. Write a small scripture inside letting your mother how much you care about her and why you love her. Decorate it with stickers, glitters, or cute stamps. Most supplies can be purchased at a hobby or scrapbooking store.

  4. Step 4

Paint something pretty. Find an old glass mug, plate, or anything that is a solid color. Purchase some stencils that have flowers, or any other kinds of nature on them. Buy paints that won't wash off in the dishwasher, paint her name on it and add the stencil designs. You could paint her a personalized mug, glass, plate or bowl.

  5. Step 5

Put together a bouquet of flowers. Find an antique vase, that would match some of the accessories in your mother's house. Buy some of her favorite silk flowers as silk flowers don't require much care and can last a lifetime.
