Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cane sugar
- 2 tsp. Baking powder
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ¾ cup fresh cranberries
- 2 tbsl. whipping cream
Step1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. With a pastry blender cut and blend the butter in the flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal.
Step2
Stir in the buttermilk and toss in the cranberries. Pat into a circle and cut into wedges. Brush the tops with whipping cream and sprinkle with sugar.
Step3
Place on a greased sheet and bake for about 12 minutes.
Makes 6.
