Need a heating pad but don't want to run to the supermarket? Here is an easy way to make one using household items

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Sock
  • Uncooked rice
  • Microwave

Step1
First find an unwanted sock that doesn't have any holes in it.
Step2
Fill the sock half way with uncooked rice.
Step3
Tie a knot in the sock so none of the rice will spill out.
Step4
Put the sock in the microwave for a minute.
Step5
Put the heat sock where you want it.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a pair of socks make two heating pads.
  • Leave the sock in the microwave longer than a minute for longer results.
  • If too hot let cool down before using.
  • Don't leave in microwave longer than two minutes! It will come out too hot.
  • Be careful when removing from microwave.
  • Can cause serious burn if left too long in microwave!
