A Recipe for Skin Cancer
A Recipe for Skin Cancer

It can be very easy to go out and get burned, even on a cloudy day. You might think that burns are associated with hot summer days, but the worst burns can happen anywhere there is sun or reflections, such as on a snowy mountain.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sunscreen
  1. Step 1

Start naked, before you even leave the house.

  2. Step 2

Apply approximately one ounce of sunscreen to your body, getting every part of you, even the places that will stay covered.

  3. Step 3

Wait about a half an hour before you go out into the sun.

  4. Step 4

Reapply the sunscreen as well as you can every two hours, or after getting wet.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are larger than average, apply more than an ounce.
  • Use the container to measure. If your sunscreen is 3 ounces, then it should have no more than 3 uses!
  • Use the highest SPF you can find.
  • Don't forget to reapply, even for "long lasting" sunscreen.
