How to make carmel corn in the microwave

This delicious carmel corn is so easy to make and no one will know that you made it in the microwave. It's fun to make and your kids will love helping you.
Make a lot of it, it will go fast! Enjoy!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    You will need:
    12 cups popped corn (2 batches)
    1 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup dark corn syrup
    1 stick of margarine or butter
    1/2 tsp. of baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla

  2. Step 2

    Place popped corn in large size, brown grocery bag. Set aside.

    In 2 quart glass bowl, combine brown sugar, syrup and margarine.
    Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir mixture and microwave on high 2 minutes..Stirring twice. Remove mixture from microwave and add baking soda and vanilla. Stir well and pour over the popcorn in bag. Fold down top of bag and shake well. Put the filled bag into the microwave on high and cook for 1 minute. Take the bag out and shake well to mix the carmel coating and popcorn. Microwave again on high for 30 seconds, take out and shake, then microwave again for 30 seconds on high.

  3. Step 3

    Remove from microwave and shake.
    Remove popcorn from bag and let cool on wax paper.
    Serve and Enjoy!
