Step 1
Decorate a fancy Easter basket. Spray it with glitter, glue wooden die forms on it or wrap it with ribbons and any other embellishments you can think of. Pad the bottom of the basket with Easter grass. Besides the traditional cellophane grass, you can use crinkle paper, colored cotton, seasonal fabric or anything else as long as it's soft and keeps the Easter prizes from getting broken. Use a t-shirt or some other padding that also can function as a prize.

Step 2
Fill the basket with Easter treats (see Resources below). The Queen's Nest traditionally contains the best Easter candy and prizes. Some prize ideas include miniature dolls, toy cars, small stuffed animals, games and books. It's also traditional to include the Golden Egg (a ceramic or plastic Easter egg painted gold).

Step 3
Hide the Queen's Nest. Make the Easter-egg hunters work hard for this wonderful prize. Conceal the Queen's Nest enough to make it the last prize the children find.
