Step 1
Paint the inside and outside of the flower pot with craft paint. Let the paint dry completely. Seal the paint with a high gloss spray paint--work in a well ventilated area. Let the gloss dry according to manufacturer's directions.
-
Step 2
Make the pot look more like a basket by decorating it with ribbons. Wrap ribbon around the top of the pot and glue it in place. Wrap additional ribbon around the pot at varying intervals. Use different colors, patterns and widths of ribbon.
-
Step 3
Cut a large flower out of brightly colored card stock. Wrap a lollipop stem with floral tape. Attach the card stock flower to the back of the lollipop with double stick tape.
-
Step 4
Trace and cut a leaf shape out of green card stock. Write a message to your child on the leaf or leave it blank. Attach the leaf to the lollipop stick with a spot of hot glue.
-
Step 5
Fill the base of the flower pot basket with Easter grass. Place the lollipop in the pot. Hold the lollipop in place and fill the remainder of the pot with Easter candies such as chocolate eggs and jelly beans.
