Instructions

    • 1

Cut a 24 inch long piece of ribbon from the 1/4-inch ribbon and 1/2-inch ribbon. Lay the thicker piece of ribbon on your work surface. Center the thin ribbon on top of the thicker ribbon.

    • 2

Slide a closed jump ring onto both strands of ribbon. Hold both ends of the ribbons in one hand, slide the jump ring to the middle of the two lengths. Position the ribbons so that the thin piece is on the outside.

    • 3

Thread all four pieces of ribbon through the ribbon slide. Twist the ends of the ribbon if you have a hard time sliding them through the slide. Position the slide so it is in the lower two thirds of the bookmark.

    • 4

Tie a knot with all four strands of ribbon at the top of the bookmark. Straighten the ribbons so that the thin ribbon is centered on the thicker ribbon and the slide is in the center of the bookmark.

    • 5

Add a charm to the jump ring. Slide a split jump ring through the top of the charm. Attach the charm to the bookmark by connecting the jump ring on the bottom of the bookmark to the jump ring on the charm.
