Things You'll Need:
- ITunes player
- Computer Media Player
- CD or downloads of music
-
Step 1
Purchase music for iTunes from the iTunes Store. Create playlists by dropping and dragging files into one folder or another. You can also create "Smart Playlists" which you can set to automatically update themselves according to your own personal settings. Select the folder "iTunes" to automatically sync your purchased files.
-
Step 2
Put a CD of your favorite music into the disc drive of your computer and upload either all of it or whatever selected music you want to copy. You can set this up so that it works automatically on some computer media devices such as Windows Media Player. Once you have the music uploaded, open up iTunes and select either "Add File to Library," or "Add Folder to Library" and begin uploading the music to iTunes.
-
Step 3
Download music from another site into your "Music" file. You can either get music for pay sites or free ones, it doesn't matter. Create a folder for this music so you know where it is and then open iTunes and repeat the same steps as in Step Two.
-
Step 4
Create different playlists of all of your uploaded and purchased music files on iTunes. Make playlist according to the different kinds of music you have or however you want to organize your playlist. Then play each playlist whenever you like, adding music files or taking them away as you prefer.
