How to Block a User on Myspace
Myspace is a social networking site of great magnitude. Because of the large number of people who visit Myspace, there are some people you may not wish to converse with and people will spam you or harass you. Follow these steps to block people on Myspace that you don't want to have access to your profile.

Direct your web browser to Myspace and sign into your account. Click the "Edit Profile" link. On the next page, click on the "Account Settings" link.

Choose the "Privacy" link from the navigation string. Tick the radio button that allows only your friends to see your profile in the "Profile Viewable By" section. Make sure that the box that allows users to share or email your photos in the Photos section is unchecked. In addition, uncheck the box that allows users under 18 years old to contact you in the "Block Users By Age" section. This will help reduce unwanted attention. Click the "Save All Changes" button.

Click the "Spam" link from the navigation string. Make sure both boxes in the Messages section are unchecked. Check the box that requires users to provide your last name or email address and enter the CAPTCHA code to add you as a friend. Make sure the rest of the boxes in the Friend Requests section are unchecked. In the comments section, select the option that only allows friends to comment on your blog. In the last three sections, select the options that don't allow anyone to send you invitations of any kind. Click the "Save All Changes" button.

Know that this will block most unwanted attention or communication to you through your Myspace profile. However, if you still happen to receive an unwanted comment or message, click the "Block User" link that accompanies the undesirable communication to block that user from ever contacting you again.
