How to Make a Yogurt Fruit Snack

A yogurt fruit snack is a great way to implement healthy fruit and yogurt into your daily diet, and it's so delicious that even kids will love it. Put your favorite yogurt and fruit combination in the freezer for a couple of hours, and enjoy a delicious frozen treat on a hot day.

  1. Step 1

    Stir a few frozen or fresh berries into a container of plain or vanilla yogurt. Raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or any berries you like will work deliciously.

  2. Step 2

    Blend a few banana slices into some vanilla yogurt, and top it with a sliced strawberry.

  3. Step 3

    Make a yogurt and fruit smoothie. Put a container of yogurt into a blender or food processor. Add fruit along with 1 tsp. of honey, 6 ice cubes and blend well.

  4. Step 4

    Shave a bit of lemon or lime zest into a container of plain yogurt and stir in a few chopped apples or grapes. You also can stir a spoonful of fruit flavored gelatin into a yogurt fruit snack.

  5. Step 5

    Chopped walnuts, cashews or pecans are a delicious addition to nearly any yogurt fruit snack. Sunflower seeds and flax seeds are also yummy, and add an extra bit of protein and fiber. To add crunch to your yogurt fruit snack, stir in a spoonful of granola.
