From Quick Guide: Vodka Cocktails
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Fill a highball glass to the top with ice. Add 6 oz. of fresh squeezed orange juice.

  2. Step 2

Splash 2 oz. of vodka into the glass. Intensify the flavor by using a flavored vodkas, such as Mandarin, orange, lemon or grapefruit.

  3. Step 3

Garnish the drink. A slice of orange, twist of lemon rind, a sprig of mint or a simple wedge of citrus fruit to go on the side of the glass are among your many options. Other additions include a splash of Grande Marnier for the intense orange flavor or an ounce of Sprite to give it fizz.

Tips & Warnings
  • The traditional glass for this drink is the highball but you can substitute another type of glass if you like.
  • You can substitute any citrus juice or blend of juices for the orange juice.
