When it's a sweltering day and you're in the mood for a Slurpee, don't get in your car and drive to your nearest convenience store. If you've got a blender, you can make your own delicious frozen treat at home.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Pour 2 cups of chilled club soda into a blender and add 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/2 tsp. of unsweetened Koo-Aid and 1/2 tsp. of cherry extract or maraschino cherry juice. Add ice and blend.
Step2
Put 2 cups of apple juice into a blender and add a package of frozen strawberries, 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract and a banana. Add 2 or 3 ice cubes and blend the apple Slurpee until it's well mixed.
Step3
Create a refreshing watermelon Slurpee. Put about 2 cups of cubed watermelon into a blender container and add a handful of strawberries and 2 tbsp. of sugar. Add 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes and blend well.
Step4
Make diet fruit-flavored Slurpees with powdered low-calorie drink mixes. Mix 1 package of drink mix with 1 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of sugar substitute. Fill the blender container with ice and mix well.
Step5
Make a simple fruit Slurpee with a can of frozen concentrate juice mix. Just add ice and blend. Lemonade and limeade are great choices, but any fruit concentrate will make a delicious frozen Slurpee.
