For many people, the combination of blueberry pie and ice cream is a great summer time treat. In general, making a pie from scratch can be time consuming. However, with this easy no-bake recipe you can make a delicious blueberry pie by refrigerating it.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9-inch graham cracker crumb crust
  • 21-oz. can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 qt. vanilla ice cream
  • 1-2 tbsp. orange juice
  • Blueberry liqueur
  • Fresh blueberries
  • Bowl
  • Spoons
  1. Step 1

Allow the vanilla ice cream to soften at room temperature.

  2. Step 2

Combine ¼ of the blueberry pie filling and add the orange juice and some blueberry liqueur (optional) in a bowl by stirring and then set it aside.

  3. Step 3

Remove the plastic lid cover from the graham cracker crumb crust and begin to assemble the pie.

  4. Step 4

Pour the remaining ¾ of the blueberry pie filling into the pie crust.

  5. Step 5

Add the softened vanilla ice cream on top of the blueberry filling with a spoon.

  6. Step 6

Take the mixture from Step 2 and drizzle it over the ice cream. Cover the pie plate with the plastic lid and then refrigerate it in the freezer until the ice cream sets up (between 30 to 60 minutes).

  7. Step 7

Remove the blueberry pie from the refrigerator and let it thaw a few minutes before serving. Cut the pie into slices, garnish with fresh blueberries and enjoy this delicious no-bake pie.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also use a 9-inch flour pie crust instead of a graham cracker pie crust, but you have to bake it at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes before assembling the pie.
