Things You'll Need:
- 2 brownies
- Deep bowl or parfait dish
- Ice cream
- Whipping cream or frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Flavored sauces
- Chocolate chips, chopped nuts or M & Ms (optional)
- Maraschino cherries
-
Step 1
Put two brownies in a deep bowl or parfait dish. You can use either homemade or bakery-bought. Stick with traditional chocolate brownies, or mix it up with butterscotch, mint, caramel or peanut butter.
-
Step 2
Top the brownies with a scoop of your choice of ice cream. Experiment with various flavors such as rocky road, pineapple, coffee, mint chocolate chip, or licorice.
-
Step 3
Put a dollop of whipped cream on top of the ice cream.
-
Step 4
Drizzle your favorite sauce over the whipped cream. Chocolate, strawberry, caramel, marshmallow or butterscotch are all excellent choices, or mix and match for your favorite flavor combination.
-
Step 5
Sprinkle some chopped walnuts or peanuts, slivered almonds, miniature chocolate chips or M & Ms on top.
-
Step 6
Finish your brownie sundae with a maraschino cherry. If desired, garnish it with a fresh mint leaf.
