How to Know if a Girl Is Interested

Since there are differences between the sexes and your perception can get skewed when you like someone, sometimes it's a bit challenging to tell whether a girl is definitely interested in you. Every girl is different and has her own way of communicating. In general though, there are sure signs that she's interested that you will notice by paying attention.

Instructions

1. See if she tries to get your attention. Examples of this are flipping her hair, crossing and uncrossing her legs, walking past you a few times, laughing loudly or making a scene. If she has your attention, think about whether she did something to provoke that or you simply noticed her. If she initiated, she's into you.

2. Notice her body language when you're in conversation. Good signs are that her chest is pointed towards you, she looks into your eyes slightly longer than is comfortable, she smiles and laughs a lot and she leans into your direction during the exchange. If her arms are crossed, or if she looks around a lot or finds a way out of the conversation quickly, she's not interested.

3. Tell her about things you like to do or plans you have and see if she tries to find a way to be with you. If she shows up with no other reason to be there, you can know she's showing her support in hopes that you two get some time alone after the event.

4. Ask her out. The only sure way to know if she's interested in you is to pony up and ask her on a date. Many guys want assurance before asking so they don't suffer a blow to their egos. In reality, though, some girls are elusive, some are shy and some you can't read no matter how hard you try. Her answer will be the tell-all. So if you want to know, go ahead and ask.
