The Legend of Zelda continues to retain its popularity with new versions of the game. All versions of the Legend of Zelda have similar features, such as the weapons and temples, yet the designers incorporate new tasks, plots and mini-games to give the presentation freshness.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Read reviews for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Reviews point out the new features and give insight into the pros and cons of each version. Make sure you read reviews from independent companies to get an unbiased opinion.
Step2
Evaluate the main plot for each game. In Ocarina of Time, you switch between a child and adult form of Link while you try to save Hyrule from Ganondorf. With Twilight Princess, you get to experience Link in the form of a wolf while saving Ordon Village and the rest of the world.
Step3
Base your comparison on game systems. Ocarina of Time works with the Nintendo 64, where Twilight Princess has versions for the Wii and Nintendo Game Cube. The different versions use different control structures.
Step4
Compare the graphics. With each new addition to the Legend of Zelda series, the games increase in visual appearance with sharper graphics, increased control over Link and more attention to detail.
Step5
Visit the locations in each game. In Ocarina of Time, you travel to Kokiri Forest, Hyrule Field, Hyrule Castle, Lon Lon Ranch, Lost Woods, Death Mountain, Goron City, Zora's Domain and many other settings. With Twilight Princess, your quest takes you Ordon Village, Hyrule Castle, Faron Woods, Kakariko Village, Goron Mines, Gerudo Desert and other destinations.
Step6
Compare temples and bosses. Most Legend of Zelda games feature temples where you earn weapons and items useful on your quest. Some weapons like the sword, bow and bombs will be the same through all versions, but other gain new functions. While you beat most bosses with the weapon from their temple, the bosses vary in design.
Step7
Play both games to get an inside understanding. It's always more fun to play the game than to read about it. As you go through the games, make notes of the differences and similarities.
